Shipping & Order tracking

How long does shipping take?

Standard free delivery typically requires around 5-7 working days.
Express shipping is completed within 1-5 working days depending on postal code, please reach out to us on 9257784498 for this.

For international orders, delivery is expected within 12-20 working days.

Please note that Customs items have extended delivery times.Customs orders generally take 12-15 days to deliver.

Do you offer express shipping options?

Yes, we offer express shipping options for an additional fee. Reach out to us on Whatsapp/ Call on +91 9257784498

Express shipping is completed within 3-5 working days.
Next Day Delivery, which is available for certain postal codes, is completed in 1 working day.

What are the shipping costs?

Our standard delivery for domestic orders is FREE, while express delivery charges vary by pincode location. Exact charges(roughly Rs.200-300 per pair) are calculated at the time of checkout.

Do you ship products outside India?

We offer shipping outside India, and can deliver to almost all global locations. Contact us!

Please note that any import duties, taxes, or brokerage fees are the responsibility of the customer and must be paid at the time of delivery.

What if I want to cancel or change my order?

We aim to process orders quickly. If you need to make any changes, please contact us immediately via chat or email us at hello@birdhouse.life with your order number, and we'll do our best to accommodate your request if the order is not shipped yet.

If you're having second thoughts, we encourage you to try the product first. We believe you'll be pleased with your purchase, but if not, you're welcome to return it within 7 days of purchase.

Returns & Exchanges

What is your return policy?

Our return policy allows for returns/ exchanges within 7 days of delivery for a refund.

Products bought in the sale are ineligible for return. They can be only exchanged for a different size. Customized and altered products are ineligible for return.

Shipping charges or gift wrap packaging, if paid, will be deducted from your refund amount.

How do I start a return?

To start a return or exchange quickly, please call or WhatsApp us at +91 9257784498, or email us at hello@birdhouse.life with your order ID and the reason for the return. We'll handle everything from there!

What are the conditions for a return and how quickly is it processed?

When returning a product, please keep the following points in mind:

  • All items must retain their original packaging and be in unworn, unwashed, and undamaged condition.
  • To prevent damage during shipment, please cover the original packaging for proper protection.
  • Return requests must be initiated within 7 days of receiving the product. To start a return, email us from your registered email at hello@birdhouse.life or contact us via WhatsApp at +91-9257784498.
  • Processing your return request typically takes 5-6 working days after it has been initiated.

Partial/No refunds may be issued under certain circumstances (if applicable):

  • Any item that is not in its original condition, is damaged, or has missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item returned more than 7 days after delivery.
Can I return or exchange sale items?

Items bought during a sale are not eligible for returns or refunds, except if they are received in poor or damaged condition. In such cases, we will provide a replacement of the same product. If the product is no longer available, we will issue a credit note or a refund.

If there are fitting issues, we will offer exchanges.

What if I receive a damaged/ wrong product?

Please do not accept a delivery if the packaging is not properly sealed or is damaged.

For order issues such as damaged or defective products, please contact us via WhatsApp or hello@birdhouse.life within 48 hours of receiving the products, along with product images. 

Payment & Refunds

How will I get the refund back?

We offer two methods for processing returns:

  1. Store Credit: We issue store credit equal to the amount of your purchase(except shipping charges), which you can use for future purchases on our website. This credit is valid for one year.
  2. Bank Refund: We can refund the amount directly to your bank account. Please provide your name, account number, IFSC code, bank name, and branch name for us to process the refund.
How long does it take to process the refund?

For all accepted returns, we will issue a refund/ credit note after we receive the product from your end, or exchange for another available size.

All refunds are processed within 14 days of successful reverse pickup.

My money is debited but the order is not confirmed.

In situations like these, your money is completely secure. Sometimes, due to technical issues, the payment may be debited but not successfully processed at the payment gateway.

Typically, the amount is reversed back to the customer’s account within 24 hours. If the payment does go through, we will either proceed with processing your order or issue a full refund to the original payment method.

What are the accepted payment methods for domestic transactions?

We accept the following modes of payment for domestic transactions:
• Credit cards - Mastercard, Visa, and American Express
• Net Banking - All major banks
• Debit Card - All major banks
• Wallet/ UPI- GooglePay, Paytm
• COD(Cash on delivery)

Size & Fittings

How do I determine the right size for my shoes?

We provide a Size Chart to help you determine the best fit for your shoes. If you need help with choosing your size or if you have doubts, do reach out to us for help.

In Fit description, we mention how true is the style to the standard fit. Refer it to figure out your personal comfort in a particular styling.

We offer Custom fit on most styles, choose Custom size while placing the order. Our team will reach out to you personally for measurements. Please note custom orders take around 12-15 days to process.

Can I exchange for a different size if it doesn't fit?

Yes, you can exchange your shoes for a different size within 7 days of purchase.

Please note Custom orders are not available for return/ exchange.

Product Care & Repair

How do I care for and maintain my shoes?
  • Spot clean with dry, clean cloth. Do not machine wash.
  • We give dust bags with each pair to store the shoes safely.
  • Do not keep in direct sunlight, or soak in water
Do you offer repair services for damaged shoes?

Yes, we offer repair services for damaged shoes to help extend their lifespan and reduce waste!

Shoe repair is very subjective to the level of wear and tear,Reach out to us to discuss!

Do you offer any recycling or take-back programs for old shoes?

Yes, we offer recycling or take-back programs where customers can return their old shoes for recycling or repurposing.

Are your shoes vegan-friendly?

Yes, all our shoes are proudly Vegan, crafted without the use of any animal products. Additionally, we hold certification from PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) to affirm our commitment to cruelty-free practices.

What materials do you use in your shoes, and are they sustainable?

We have engineered our range with the simplest natural materials like Jute, Cork, Wood, Algae combined with the most advanced technology for utmost comfort and performance.  We recognize that there's ample room for improvement and we are committed to continually refining our sustainability efforts with each new collection.

How do you ensure ethical practices in your supply chain?

We work closely with our suppliers to ensure fair labor practices, transparency, and social responsibility throughout our supply chain.
