We've had the incredible opportunity to work with amazing materials and technologists around the world, truly revolutionising the materials and science of shoemaking.
This journey has led us to engineer our range with the simplest Natural Materials like Jute, Cork, Rubber, Algae combined with the most advanced technology for best comfort and performance.
Jute insoles
We use 100% biodegradable jute for our insoles. Jute insoles offer excellent flexibility and durability over the traditional moulded plastic and cellulose insoles.
They can be flexed or bent to test their resilience, maintaining their shape and bounce over time.
Recycled Eco foam
Our cushioning incorporates 30-40% recycled EVA, helping to keep hundreds of tons of waste out of landfills each year.
Unlike traditional insoles, our insoles have a compression set of less than 5% over time, ensuring that the cushioning and fit remain consistent. This provides maximum comfort every time you put your shoes on.
Microfiber
Our Upper Microfiber has a fiber-like backer to enhance strength and durability, and it is 100% Biodegradable. It's a better alternative to mainstream textile-coated PU and PVC, which are Non-Biodegradable.
While it still utilises Polyurethane top coating, we are actively exploring bio-based alternatives to reduce our environmental impact further.
Raffia threads
Raffia threads are natural fibers derived from the leaves of the raffia palm tree. Known for their durability and flexibility, these threads are widely used in weaving, crafting, and textiles.
Raffia threads are eco-friendly, biodegradable, and add a rustic, unique texture to our embroideries!

Our footbeds are made from 100% cork mixed with rubber, which naturally contours to the foot, provides excellent shock absorption, and insulates against temperature changes.
